Hello Everyone,

I hope you are getting settled into your many fall activities. My partner Chris and I are travelling by sail, enjoying the fresh air, birds and sea life, including cormorants and eagles and of course dolphins. We were in a safe harbour for Florence surviving well the two dark, wet and very windy days.

As well as preparing for some projects outside the province including research and study for my upcoming exams, I have been thinking about the classes I will be having with you back in St. John's later this fall!

I am planning an early week basic technique class with focus on pirouettes and allegro. I plan for an open ballet technique during the week and of course the ever popular fun Saturday extravaganza . Also I would like to have at least two Intermediate/Advanced pointe classes during the week. I know there is interest in Syllabus coaching. I am prepared to teach all the majors Intermediate through to Advanced 2 and Diploma. Returning this fall is my dance history course with focus in classical theatrical dancing better known as ballet. I hope that many of you will be interested in this new class, although there may be a pop quiz from time to time the class should be fun and informative.

The schedule will revolve around studio availability along with guest teaching positions. However, at this point I would welcome your preferred and/or impossible times. Contact me when you know which classes you are interested. The fee schedule will be similar to the summer but I will also offer prices based on last season's regular tuition fees along with a flat rate.

I will try to post a weekly update as details are confirmed and internet access permits. In the meantime have a great time with all your activities and keep dancing!
