Week 8 Spring Term Continues & Notes from Beyond

OK this is the official count down to exams. Tomorrow morning the Advanced 1's will be in Mount Pearl from 8 am -10 am followed by Maggie for about an hour. Wanda and I will then start cleaning and get the studio exam ready! Tuesday , May 22 is exam day so there are no regular classes. A huge thank you to Michele Newhook and everyone at the Mount Pearl School of Dance for their help in making this happen. I am so grateful for my second home and most appreciative of the freedoms most kindly allowed to me and my few students in this year of " limbo"!

So here is a quick update on this week's schedule.

Also thank you to Marie Cragg and The School of Dance for welcoming me to their lovely dance spaces and my colleagues at The Dance Centre for my week day evening time at their Torbay Road location.

The Festival Of New Dance begins on Tuesday. Check the web site

Now to Chris & Beyond ...... My partner with our mini super mini yacht !.....registered in France as Mini open class racer# 565, left Cape Breton Thursday night heading down the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia shrouded in a thick blanket of fog . Friday evening, they along with several other journeying yachts and a couple of tankers scurried for the safety of Halifax Harbour. Beyond now rests at anchor along side the famous Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron. in the North West Arm , Kelly and anyone else reading this, drop down to the Club , 376 Purcell's Cove Road . Go along the pier and look right. Small boat , big mast, American flagged . You may find Chris in the Club House entertaining with stories of his escapades ! I am hoping he will have a chance to get downtown and see the sights. I always remember Halifax fondly and as a great place to walk around enjoy the public areas . It looks like Tuesday may be a possible departure .

As always thanks for your interest in my classes . I hope many will come to the final weeks of of the Spring Term,,,,
and for now ....see you in class
