Spring Break ! March 26-April 8

Spring has sprung and Blackmore Dance is now on Spring/ Easter Break. There are no classes from Monday, March 26 through to Sunday, April 8.

The Advanced 1's will be private practicing at their usual 11:30 a.m. time on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sarah M has offered to help ........ ? Thanks exam people for getting your applications/fees in this week end. I will let you know as soon as I have more info...date , examiner etc.

Everyone else, take a break and enjoy your other activities. I know several of you will be very busy with "Gypsy"......... I enjoyed my sneak preview this afternoon, seeing everyone ...........especially Sarah S and Cassidy as it has been awhile............ and a nostalgic look at my Kindergarten classroom in the old Harrington building ....... fun! By the way Gypsy performers, you will all look great!

And off I go to Toronto/Rochester, New York., excited to see my dear friend Gail and my grown up Godson Evan. Sadly I will miss the effervescent Kate, away at university.Hopefully she is focused on completing her semester work, like many of you should also be focused

Of course, I am , frankly.... beyond words..... to see my partner Chris, who will be driving across the border tomorrow to meet me in Toronto!

So no set plans but I will be in Toronto wanting to see everyone there. Visit the new NBS, class at Dance Teq.............and more!!

Saturday Class Time

This week Saturday, March 24 Advanced Ballet will be from 3:00-4:30. As usual we will be at the School of Dance but in the smaller studio.

All other classes this week at their previously posted times and locations.The schedule for the two week period Monday, March 26 through to Sunday , April 8 will be posted this coming Sunday evening.

Spring Term starts Saturday, March 17. Everyone is reminded that all classes are open registration and dancers are welcome to join or drop in to my classes at any time.

I am going to be in Toronto/Rochester from March 26 through to April 8. There will be a reduced schedule over the Easter Break. Details will be posted next week.
Everyone is reminded to check the blog frequently throughout the term for possible schedule changes. This is recital time and as we all know a very busy time for all studios with extra practices etc.

Tuition Fees

Listed below are two sets of payment options,Drop In Rates or Term Rates . Please choose the fee plan that is most appropriate for you. Tuition is non refundable. Class cards expire at the end of the spring session. If you choose the Set term Rates you are reminded , as in the past , that attendance is the dancer's responsibility,all are encouraged to make up missed lessons (if available). There are absolutely no refunds.This is a ten week session, March17 through to the first week of June .

1 class a week $110.00
2 classes a week $216.00
3 classes a week $285.00
4 classes a week $330.00
5 or more classes a week $365.00

Last Week Winter Term

Winter is about done and Spring is poised in the wings getting ready to pirouette and jete !

Classes continue at the usual times and location this week.

Spring Term starts Saturday , March 17. I will have to compose a jig , in 6/8 time of course, in honour of St. Patrick's Day!

Winter Week 9 / March 3-9

Nearly through the Winter Term! After the excitement of last week's Dance Collage performance, I am looking forward to a pleasant week of work with all classes at their usual times and locations.

Thank you for the card and again your hard work.......I was very proud and pleased as were others.

The Dance Collage went well and was received with enthusiasm. I hope you had a chance to meet new people and see friends who also dance. I believe the event will be a huge bonus to our DTAN fund. If you are interested in applying to this or other funds , let me kow!
