October!

Well here it is October and well into the fall activities. Auditions and rehearsal for several shows are well underway. First up this week is Cinderella at the Arts & Culture Centre starring our own Sarah Small........ congratulations !

Fall Season

Here are my classes so far this fall...........

Wednesday 8:30 Technical Tune Up for Intermediate & Advanced dancers.Moving beyond the basics we will explore the
fundamentals of pirouettes, all types of allegro and how technique is built through barre and centre practice.

Friday 5:00-6:10 Private Grade 3 Cecchetti Syllabus
6:15-7:45 Int/Adv Ballet & Pointework. This class may be taken in soft shoes or you choose to wear pointe shoes at the
barre then switch for the centrework.
7:45 -8:15 Cecchetti Diploma

Saturday 4:30-6:00 Int/Adv Open Style Ballet Class/ My traditional funfilled last class on Saturday extravaganza!
6:10-6:50 Cecchetti Diploma

Class Card & Private lesson prices were in last weeks post. If you are interested in registering for a specific class/classes on a regular basis I can also offer flat rates. If you choose this option please be advised that with any of my fee options there are no refunds and no credits will be given given for missed lessons. However, if possible, you may make up the lesson. The Fall Term will be 12 weeks.

Fall Preview

Hi everyone hope you had a great Labour Day Week End! As we turn the corner towards autunm I hope you are getting your fall schedules organized.

This week the Wednesday & Friday class continue at the usual time of 5:15. I will decide later in the week about the Saturday class. If I teach the class it will have a later start time of 4:30.

This fall besides my classes in the program at The School of Dance I am continuing my childrens Combo class for 7-9 year olds in Mount Pearl. This class is on Thursday this season. I am not sure yet if I will be offering more out that way. If you are interested in classes call Mount Pearl School of Dance directly.

Now to Blackmore Dance classes! As always they are open registration with single drop in along with multiple class rates. There are no increases in fees this fall.......... to the classes.......
