Class Update January 28-February 2!

Hi all this is the last week of Term 2 but some new classes are getting a preview!

Contemporary Dance begins this Tuesday. Class will begin with a brief and gentle barre warm up then will continue with the Stretch and Strength floorwork that includes elements of Irene Dowd's conditioning dances along with a variety stretching and toning exercises drawn from my modern dance/body work/yoga experiences. The remainder of the class will focus on moving combinations and choreographic passages...... intergrating modern and balletic influences.... come give it a try ! Let me know if you are interested ..... this week start time is 6:00.

The Stretch & Strength/Conditioning class shifts to Thursday 6:45. This is a great class to take on it's own or as a lead in to the following ballet/pointe class. The Stretch & Strength class has a special price of $6.00 a class.

Both these new classes are suitable dancers from a broad range of dance experiences who have a basic foundation of dance technique.For the complete schedule and fees check the preceding posts.........

1:30-2:45 Teen Ballet 3 (Register directly with TSD)
3:00-4:30 Advanced Open Style Ballet 4 (Register directly with TSD)
4:45-6:00 Advanced Ballet, short centre warm up then Cecchetti Advanced/Diploma allegro & pointe

Winter Fees

There are two payment options, Drop In Rates or Term Rates. Please choose the fee schedule that is most appropriate for you. Tuition is non refundable. Class cards expire at the end of the Spring session. If you choose the Term Rates you are reminded, as in the past, that attendance is each dancer's responsibility. You are encouraged to make up missed lessons (if available). There are absolutely no refunds.This is a nine week session,November 12-February 2, although you may begin at any time. For those wishing to begin now and prefer the Term Rate plan, I will pro rate the fees.

Also MPSD is accepting new students so if you know anyone out there looking for a class for 6-8 year olds my Tuesday ballet/jazz has openings...... so here we go......
