Hi I will be on my way to Mount Pearl within minutes. We can delay start time to about about 11:45 or 12 to give you time to shovel and take your time getting there. Pointe will start at the usual time 1:45....see you soon!

Dance Collage Rehearsals

This week two rehearsals are scheduled.

Friday 2 February, 6:45-8:30
Mount Pearl School of Dance

Saturday 3 February , 4:15-6:00
The School of Dance.

There are classes prior to each of these rehearsals that many of you attend.However if you will not be attending class I request you come early to warm up. Warm up before rehearsal is always important however it is winter and in St.John's we have been experiencing very windy and cold conditions, so....... this makes a warm up routine vital to allow your body to work properly .

Let's hope snow doesn't disrupt our schedule this week.....and I will see you in class!

Dance Collage Info and This Week's Schedule

All classes continue at their usual times and locations this week.

Dance Collage rehearsal is on Saturday 27 January from 4-6 at The School of Dance.

Take note of our Arts & Culture Centre rehearsal times.
Monday 26 February, 5:00-5:30
Tuesday 27 February, 5:15-5:30

As you can see our stage time is very limited. Later in February we will agree in arrival times that will allow us to warm up , be organized and ready to go in order to make the most of this precious time!

Friday and Saturday Class and Rehearsal Location!

The Friday Ballet with Pointe class will continue at The Mount Pearl School of Dance. Start time is 5:15.

This week Dance Collage rehearsals will be Friday at 6:45 in Mount Pearl and Saturday from 4-5 at The School of Dance. If you are not attending the classes before the rehearsals please come early to warm up.

Next week there will be no Friday rehearsal (25 January). There will be a Saturday( January 26) session from 4-6 at The School of Dance.

This is a 10 week session. January 6 through to mid March.

Listed below are two sets of payment options. Drop In Rates or Set Term Rates . Please choose the fee schedule that is most appropriate for you. Tuition is non refundable. Class cards expire at the end of the winter session. If you choose the Set term Rates you are reminded , as in the past , that attendance is the dancer's responsibility,all are encouraged to make up missed lessons (if available). There are absolutely no refunds.This is a ten week session, January 6 through to mid March.

Best wishes to everyone for 2007!!

Over the Holidays it was wonderful seeing those of you who are studying outside the province dancing in my classes. The Christmas Workshop was a great early start to my New Year resolution to to get back" in shape" and continue preparations for the big exam!

I am taking a few days off this week to work on clearing/cleaning my house. Chris and I have started the count down to Spring and our return to our sailboat Beyond. Looking forward to June in the Magdelan Islands and then deciding if we carry on to the St. Lawrence Seaway or head to the "Boston States" by the ocean route.........

The Winter Term starts this week end. I will post the schedule. price list and other info later in the week. Dance Collagers rehearsals will begin mid January. Most likely times for practices are Friday/Saturday evenings. For those new to my choreographic process I generally set the work quickly and then go back, attending to details. I am looking forward to working with you all.
