Schedule Change This Week Only!

Hi, a quick note about schedule revisions this week. Wednesday (Diploma) cancelled & Friday(Advanced Pointe)cancelled. All other classes will be going ahead as usual!

March 25-March 29

Hi there, hope you all had a great Easter Week End. I slept, read and ate and think I have conquered my cold.

Tomorrow is my last day at work on the hill .... I certainly enjoyed my work in the libraries, creating the digital town boundary archive and sorting through over one thousand municipal plans, zoning and development maps. I have had a very different tour of Newfoundland and Labrador and the history of planning in this province!

The schedule continues this week with private bookings at 3:15 on Tuesday and 3:45 on Friday. Wednesday Diploma is going ahead. I will be there for Stretch @6:45 on Thursday. Friday pointe is iffy depending on Sarah M. rehearsal schedule. The Thursday evening and Saturday afternoon ballet classes are now seriously into recital work.

I now will have more flexibilty for classes and private bookings. In April I want to get the modern rehearsals underway for the Mount Pearl recital in June. I also would like to schedule some daytime classes ......... so let me know if you have requests and spread the word....... all dancers welcome!

Sheila's Brush & Happy Easter

Well Sheila is certainly leaving her mark with several Brushes this St. Patrick Day week end. I have to say that I have been really enjoying my extra day off except for the snow, of course!

We are on a reduced schedule this week with the upcoming Easter Week End.

Weather permitting the Tuesday 4:30 is going ahead and I will be teaching Michelle's ballet classes on Tuesday evening, this week.

Wednesday Cecchetti Diploma at 6:30-8:15. Thursday, Stretch is going ahead at 6:45 followed by the Int/Adv Pointe class.

Kittiwake Dance Theatre is presenting "Mermaids of The Avalon" at the Arts & Culture Centre, Saturday, March 29.

March 10-15

Hi all! I am suspending the Tuesday Modern class for two weeks while I try to get my book keeping together for the last three years......... ah yes I can procrastinate with the best. However I will be continuing the class and I am preparing a piece for the Mount Pearl recital in June. I am using an oldie but goodie ........."there is a Season Turn!Turn!Turn!"by the Byrds. Appropriate in many ways! I am going to dabble with choreography but I am going to hold off setting things too firmly until later in April & May. I hope that many of you will want to join me for this dance.

Schedule is the same this week with a private pointe class Wednesday at 5:30. The classes at The School of Dance are now closed as we are seriously into choreography.

March 4(Tuesday) -March 8(Saturday)

Hi, I am really hoping to get a group together for the Tuesday Modern class in Mount Pearl. I would like to have a modern piece in the show in June......... let me know if you are interested even if have to start later on......... I see lots of movement , bright coloured fabric..........the costume would be inexpensive.

Also this week the Saturday ballet class 3:00-4:30 is a Blackmore Dance class so you can use it as make up, use your class card or pay for the individual class. At 4:30 I am having a rehearsal for those dancers in the TSD piece and are in town this week end.
