Classes This Week.....

Hi All,
Summer Dance went great. It was a pleasure to work with SM, CQ and DT and the piece was received favourably. Thanks to the dancers along with Marie/ The School of Dance and Michelle /Mount Pearl School of Dance. I am glad to have participated!

Class on Wednesday & Friday this week at the usual place & time. I know we are due for a Saturday class this week but I am holding off for now. As many of you know I have been cat sitting the past two weeks........... the international globe trotters arrive home this evening.I am not sure of itineraries however there may be week end events that I would like to enjoy with my dear friend who now teaches in China.........

..............also remember to go to see the gang in purple with Creator Dance this Friday. I am looking forward to it!

Week of July 21.......

Classes are back downtown this week at The School of Dance at the usual start time of 5:15 on Wednesday & Friday. I will let you know about Saturday when I know what is happening with Summer Dance in Pippy Park.......& now to Summer Dance............

...........Those of you who expressed interest in being in the "chorus" please confirm your interest and availibility. Sarah & I had had two great rehearsals this week end. I am checking if our application has been accepted. If we choose to go ahead it means that we will go intensive staring on Tuesday. We would need about 3 rehearsals to bring it together................. stay tuned for details!

P.S. It was so great to have lovely group in Mount Pearl for the Wednesday class. Along with the fantastic regulars it was super to have KM, & the two CQs pirouetting!

Hi out there. Great summer week end here & hope all is well with everyone wherever you may be!

Wednesday & Friday Classes are at The Mount Pearl School of Dance @ 5:45-7:15 for this week only.

I am choreographing a solo work with a chorus group for the Summer Dance. If you are able to be part of the chorus let me know. I will start next week in Mount Pearl & continue the following week. I need to know when you are available. If you have questions e mail is best at the usual dancenf@earthlink.net ... oops! by the way the song that I have chosen is Natalie Merchant " Wonder" A favourite with many interpretations..........

For those out there who have tomorrow off ( like me!!!!!) enjoy............ keep dancing.......

Summer Classes July7-12

Classes same as last week with the addition of Saturday. 5:15 on both Wednesday & Friday. This week BOTH of these classes will be followed 1/2 hour-45 minutes of the Cecchetti Diploma work for those interested! Yes there is a class this Saturday. I am trying for alternate Saturdays..... we are a go for 3:30. Again followed by CDip for those who have some strength left! All at the School of Dance

Also I need to know who is available to perform in Summer Dance. I am thinking it will be a small group, which is fine.( last year it was a trio with solo work)
